I enjoyed a bit of a break from trying out new recipes. But recently I met someone, who taught me how to make a nice pasta dish.
If you love your mozzarella and your veggies, this is certainly a dish for you!
The things you will need: (Serves 2)
- 2 tbsp Mozzarella cheese
- 100 ml cooking cream
- Salt, Pepper, Herbs(your choice)
- Chili flakes
- Boiled pasta of any shape – 1 1/2 cups
- Olive oil
- colored peppers
Now lets get started:
First of all let us get to making the sauce. It is quite an easy method, yet you need to keep your eyes on it. So, first of all heat a thick bottomed pan on a low flame. Add 1 tsp of olive oil to it. Just enough to grease it a bit.
Then add your 100 ml of fresh cream and simmer until it comes to a boil.
Now that it has come to a boil, add your herbs and season with salt and pepper.
Wait until it just gently begins to let the aroma of herbs.
Now it is time to add in the grated mozzarella cheese.
keep stirring to avoid it from becoming lumpy.
The sauce will thicken a bit. If you like your sauce extremely thick you may add more cheese, but I liked it this way…
Now in another open pan. Start sauteing your veggies.
First cook your zucchini in a sufficient amount of olive oil. Just until it turns light brown. This will make it a bit crispy.
Now it is time to cook your peppers, which have been sliced into just bite sized pieces.
Now cook your broccoli, you can turn off the stove when you feel your broccoli is done.
Finally all that you need to do now is to assemble your lovely ensemble.
Take a huge bowl.
Add your boiled pasta. Heat it in the microwave for a bit, until it is as hot as you like it.
Then slowly drizzle the white sauce over it.
Now you may assemble all your veggies on the top.
Season gently with salt and pepper.
Add a crunch of fresh chili flakes on the top.
Microwave for a bit, and serve hot!
